Few years ago, I started drinking coffee and fell in love with this miraculous delight. When I used to pass through the coffee shops, it smells so good. Few days before I started drinking it, I tried salted caramel mocha and trust me guys, it was shell-shocking. After that, I got hooked to the coffee and various enhancements which can be made with coffee.
Creamers, cold brew, cakes, pastries, cookies and much more can be prepared with coffee. It became my life so I thought of learning the process of how to make coffee items or sweeteners. Today, in this article, I would like to enlighten you guys with Coffee Creamers. It’s an easy process plus money saver too. And it keeps harmful additives away from your body. Let’s start:
It is a simple creamer that needs few minutes to get prepared.
Pick a saucepan and add milk and cream to it. Warm the mixture. Then add honey and mix it thoroughly so that all the ingredients get dissolved. Pour vanilla extract and then take the pan down from heat. Here you go with vanilla coffee creamer. Store it in jar, preferably glass.
I am a caramel freak. I learnt how to make caramel and wasted a lot of stuff on it. Finally, I got to know how to prepare it perfectly because I don’t like buying it from the stores.
Add cream and milk in a medium saucepan and pour caramel sauce in the mixture. Stir it well until it gets completely dissolved. Get the pan down from heat and let it cool for some time. Keep it in a glass jar and store it.
I cannot get enough of lavender. Other than caramel, this is also my favourite. Lavender doesn’t need any other ingredient to make luscious cup of coffee creamer.
Heat the milk, honey and cream in a pan till it get completely dissolved. Add lavender flowers to the mixture and after two minutes, take the pan down. Place a lid over the pan and let it steep for around 30 minutes. Next, take a strainer and pour the creamer through it in a glass jar. Refrigerate it.
An exceptional combination of cinnamon and honey adds to the taste of coffee creamer. Not only does it make the coffee tasty, it brings out the rich flavours and aroma of this succulent treat. French toast coffee creamer is very easy and fast to prepare.
Add milk, honey and cream in a pan and let it warm by stirring it continuously. Add cinnamon sticks into it. Get it down from heat after 2 minutes and then place a lid over the pan. Making coffee creamers at home is quite easy with health benefits as well. Other than the above mentioned methods, here is one more method to make creamer. It is a bit long process where you need to use condensed milk to make coffee creamer.
To prepare the base of creamer, add a can of condensed milk to 1 ¾ cup of cream or milk. The suggested ratio is 1:1 for condensed milk and cream. So if you want to make less coffee creamer from the left-over can of condensed milk, simply add the equal amount of cream. Stir the mixture to make sure that it gets mixed nicely. If you are having any issue in stirring the mixture, blend it in a mixer.
You can also make your own condensed milk rather than buying it from the grocery store. It is a healthier option to make it by yourself as you can put fresh and desired ingredients to it. Let’s make sugar free condensed milk by blending the below ingredients together and here you go:
This is how you can prepare condensed milk at home and that too inexpensively. Now let’s move to the next section where we will add various flavours to the creamer base which we just made with condensed milk.
Don’t overheat the milk while adding syrups. Warm the base and then add syrups as it ensures that the syrups get nicely dissolved instead of settling at the bottom. Lastly, before pouring it, shake the creamer well.
Try using raw honey while making coffee creamers because there is no risk of any additives. Plus, raw honey makes you use the coffee creamer for up to 10 days, if refrigerated. Every creamer has a different taste. If you want to add more coffee taste to the creamer, increase the amount. And if sweet creamer is your choice, put more sweeteners in the recipe
